The registration fee for 2days includes dinner and accommodation.

Dinner: 3-course meal (All drinks are charged and paid for separately). The dinner will be served in the English style student hall canteen within the accommodation building. Vegetarian menu will be available. Further information about the menu will be updated on our website in due course.

Accommodation: A single study bedroom with en-suite bathroom facilities, inc towel, soap and bathmat. Internet access is available. Breakfast on Saturday is included.

*You need to have been a member of the current year 2012-13 to be entitled to the reduced fee when you send the registration and booking form. The non-member special rate is applicable only to a non-member who belongs to an institution in secondary education. The non-member student fee is applicable to full-time students on 30 -31 August 2013.

From the Organiser

The 14 th BATJ Annual conference will be held on Friday 9th and Saturday 10th September at the Nissan Institute, the University of Oxford.  Speakers will include Professor Nobuko Nitsu of University of Tokyo, a specialist in academic writing and Dr Phillip Harries, lecturer  in classical Japanese literature at the University of Oxford. There will also be presentations of research papers, practical reports, poster presentations and workshops. The event will run from approximately 1:00pm on Friday and finish 5:00pm on Saturday. The application form will be available around end of June and provisional programme will be available by early July.

I look forward to seeing as many of you as possible at the conference.
