The 13th BATJ Annual Conference will be held on Friday 3rd and Saturday 4th September at the University of Reading. We are going to have Professor Ryuko Kubota of the University of British Columbia, who will give a keynote speech on Critical teaching of Japanese language and culture: From theory to practice and Dr Alan Tonkyn of University of Reading, who will give an invited speech entitled Form-focused Teaching and the Communicative Language Teacher: Can the Explicit aid the Implicit?. There will also be presentations of research papers, practical reports and poster presentations and workshops.

Im sure that we will have productive two days with a variety of interesting presentations and workshops and hope to see as many of you as possible at the conference.
